To assist with the challenges of COVID-19, we have extended our returns policy to 60 days to allow you time to return your goods either in-store or by mail. 

 

City Chic Returns

Need to return or exchange a recent purchase? Return your items within 60 days for a full refund. For on the spot refunds and exchanges head into any City Chic store and our in-store teams can help you with all your needs. View our Store Locator to find your closest City Chic location.

Can’t get to a store? To arrange your return to our online store simply follow one of the methods listed below.

Please note:

We are not able to offer an exchange on returned items via our online store. To exchange an item please visit your local City Chic store or place a new order for the different size, colour or item. 
All in store purchases must be returned to a City Chic store.

FREE Australia Post Returns for Australian Customers 

For a limited time, we're offering our Australian customers free returns through Australia Post. 
  1. Click this link  to print your FREE Australia Post return label. All you need to have is your City Chic Order ID (order number) and your email address. 
  2. Package your item(s) into the original parcel packaging or suitable new packaging. You must include your tax invoice email you received with your initial order, printed out, when returning your items. 
  3. Print your FREE Australia Post label or take your email confirmation from your Australia Post free return to any Australia Post office. Australia post boxes and selected branches of retailers such as IGA, Mitre 10 and Priceline and drop off your return.
    If you're unable to print your label, Australia Post Offices enable label-less returns where you can take your return parcel and show your return email - the retailer will then print your label for you. 
    Once we receive the package please allow 24-48 hours for your refund to be processed. Once your refund has been processed you'll receive an email confirmation.

Tracking your return:

If you chose to return your item via the Post Office, please ensure you use a trackable service, so you are able to track your order if necessary. You can track your Post office return here using the tracking number they have provided you.

Afterpay Returns

AfterPay purchases made online can be returned Online or in City Chic stand alone stores only. Afterpay purchases made in store must be returned in store, they cannot be returned Online.

You must include your original tax invoice and after pay email receipt and post back to the below online returns address by the Post office or take into store.

Refunds will be processed and communicated to the customer via Afterpay shortly after City Chic processes the returned item/s. The returned item/s will create an adjusted Afterpay payment schedule or a complete refund of payments to date (depending if all of the original order’s items are returned).

Zip Pay Returns

Zip pay purchases made online can be returned Online or in City Chic Australian standalone stores only. Zip pay purchases made in store must be returned in Australian stores, they cannot be returned Online.

You must include your original tax invoice and Zip pay email receipt and post back to the below online returns address by the Post office or take into store.

Refunds will be processed and communicated to the customer via Zip pay shortly after City Chic processes the returned item/s. Zip pay is only available in Australian stores and online. 

City Chic Exchanges

We are not able to offer exchanges on returned items via our online store. To exchange an item please visit your local City Chic store or return your item and place a new order for the different size, colour or item.

For Afterpay orders, you are unable to exchange in store. Please return your item to our online store and place a new order for the different size, colour or item.

New Zealand Online Returns 

  1. Package your item(s) into the original parcel packaging or suitable new packaging. You must include your tax invoice email you received with your initial order, printed out, when returning your items. Address your return to:

  2. Take your parcel to any post office and return it using a trackable service. Costs will vary depending on your location and the weight of your parcel.

Returns Policy

Online Returns Policy

If you are not entirely happy with your online purchase, please post the return to us via one of the above shipment methods, within 60 days of purchase for a full refund only, exchanges cannot be made via the online store. All in store purchases must be returned to a City Chic store.

All eligible online returns require:

  • The return is made within 60 days of the date shown on the tax invoice.
  • Items must be in new and original condition as purchased, with all labels/tickets attached.
  • Tax Invoice must be provided as proof of purchase.

If one item is returned that was part of a '2 for' or 'Spend & Save' deal, the garment will be refunded at the discounted price or as the percentage price as calculated by City Chic which was paid and not the original full price.

Please note customers are responsible for the cost of postage for all returns, with the exception of faulty items. If your item is faulty, please contact our Customer Care team to arrange a return in this instance.

In-store Returns Policy

We welcome refunds and exchanges on change of mind purchases subject to the following conditions:

  • The return is made within 60 days of purchase.
  • Items must be in new and original condition as purchased, with all labels/tickets attached.
  • The original sale receipt must be presented as proof of purchase.
  • Without a receipt an exchange or credit note may be offered for the current selling price of the goods.
  • The item was not permanently reduced at the time of purchase.

Note: To protect your health and the health of others, we do not refund or exchange for change of mind purchases on swimwear, underwear (excluding bras), cosmetics or pierced earrings. Where items are faulty, have been wrongly described or do not do what they are supposed to, you are welcome to choose between a refund (with proof of purchase), exchange or credit note.
